Once upon a time when we used to be
We were so close, we each had two families
Once upon a time when we used to talk
We’d listen to each other on our frequent walks
Once upon a time when we used have fun
Making long lasting memories one by one
Once upon a time when I called you my friend
We always vowed to each other our friendship wouldn’t end
Once upon a friendship I used to be complete
Now I feel like I’ve lost the other half of me.
